Running the audition process of an orchestra is a very heavy and difficult process.

The need to reaudition existing members of a group can be strain from within. In universities it can be possible to get away from the standard reauditioning every single year by the virtue of the fact that members will automagically drop out of the group when they graduate. This makes the hard process of kicking out players something which has not never be attempted. - Easy Sign-up Process
The process in order to sign up with the orchestra should be extremely easy, quick and error free. For example an orchestra that allows people to sign their own email and contact details upon a piece of paper makes it more difficult. Their writing might not be up to scratch and it could be illegible, wherein calling them up for the audition can be very difficult. - Percieved Fairness
Ensuring that the candidate has a full and complete knowledge of the entire audition process beforehand is extremely important. - Choosing a Panel
The choice of members is certainly a very difficult - one should attempt to have a cross section between those good at the specific instrument being auditioned, someone with great management skills and someone with great musical overview over the process. This will ensure that the process will complete successfully and smoothly without any hiccups. It actually ties up into
